Hieu Nguyen Trung (Cheo Nguyen Trung)
Hieu Nguyen Trung, who was born on October 11th in 1992, has successfully finished his solo singing courses (teacher Rolandas Aidukas) and in 2008 graduated from Vilnius Music School “Lyra”.
He is a very talented and gifted student who has a beautiful singing voice, a
good ear for music and, without a doubt, promising musical abilities.
Hieu Nguyen Trung is a winner of several international competitions. In 2005 he won the 3rd place in the solo singing contest called “The 6th International Festival of sacred music “Sudraba zvanu” (“Silver Bells”)”, in Daugavpils, Latvia. Same year he became a laureate of 2nd Antanas Kucingis Young Singers Competition in Vilnius, where he won 3rd place as well.
Hieu Nguyen Trung took part in opera premieres, directed by the Vilnius Music School “Lyra”, such as “Spider’s wedding”(as a main vocal) and “Ţiogo pievelës pasaka arba Tikri draugai“, which took place in the Russian Drama Theatre (Lithuania).
Hieu Nguyen Trung has been performing for more than 8 years now, including live performances in Poland, Germany, Latvia and the Czech Republic. His repertoire mostly consists of classical music. He can sing in Lithuanian, Vietnamese, Italian, Latin, English, Russian and Tatar languages. In addition to solo singing at the “Lyra”, he also attended solfeggios, music history and piano courses.
Hieu Nguyen Trung is a leader among his peers, a talented and promising singer who, in my opinion, has a lot of future potential.
